- Honours even so will there be more pressure heaped on Brendan Rodgers after this, although he still hasn’t lost a Merseyside Derby
- Danny Ings will no doubt be delighted to score in his first ever Merseyside Derby
- Emre Can commits another defensive war crime as his failure to clear allows Lukaku to equalise
- Liverpool were certainly the better side in the first half but a think a draw is probably a fair enough result.
- Everton’s chances were limited although they did manage to get into the game more in the 2nd half.
- Even with John Stones not playing they look quite resolute at the back and are now 4 games unbeaten
- The draw keeps Liverpool in 10th.
- I had a lovely roast dinner and sort of switched off for the last 20 minutes or so as the game fizzled out.
