2019/20 Premier League Predictions – Week 7

The Premier League is on the horizon once again and with Sheffield United playing host to Liverpool in less than three hours time, it means I need to pull my finger out and offer up another raft of top-flight predictions. However, with the current run I have been on, you may as well go and read something else.

While if you were to read something else, I have just the perfect bit of content for you. That’s because on my sister website, I am currently undergoing a project to build a predictive betting model, one that should hopefully be a lot better than just going on gut instinct.

Anyway without digressing slightly, we need to have a quick review of my picks from week six and once again, it is the kind of form that is almost set for relegation at the end of the season. Once again it was a paltry four out of ten, which when you consider I was on a 40% strike rate going into week six, it means the not so status quo has been continued.

That’s now 24 picks correct out of 60 and if this does continue I’ll be sacked in the morning. So without further ado, here are my offerings for week 7.

Saturday

Sheffield United vs Liverpool – Liverpool Win

Wolves vs Watford – Wolves Win

Crystal Palace vs Norwich – Crystal Palace Win

Bournemouth vs West Ham – Draw

Chelsea vs Brighton – Chelsea Win

Aston Villa vs Burnley – Draw

Tottenham vs Southampton – Tottenham Win

Everton vs Manchester City – Manchester City Win

Sunday

Leicester vs Newcastle – Leicester Win

Monday

Manchester United vs Arsenal – Arsenal Win

That’s what I think will happen this weekend, more importantly what do you think will be the outcomes. If you are brave enough to leave your opinions, then feel free to let me know in the comments below. Hopefully I can build on the solid benchmark of last week, time will tell if that proves to be the case.
