There are just 9 gameweeks to go as we now approach the final stretch in the race to become the second ever Real Football Men FPL champion. David McDonagh was the inaugural champion last season and the question that everyone is asking is whether or not he can do it again.
And the answer right now seems to be yes he can, as David once again sits top of the tree but he is being run very close by perennial rival Kwame Twumasi. David has got 1586 points with Kwame being just 4 points further back.
There was not a great deal of movement in the top half of the table with the top 6 unchanged. My good friend Andy Miller stays third just 22 points away from top spot while Ray McDermott and Fifii McDowell share 4th but with them being 48 points behind their title hopes are beginning to slim.
Ologo Popo and Dennis Kioko have traded 6th and 7th respectively while none other than yours truly stays in 8th, I may have scored higher than league leader David but only managed to chip 2 points out of what is proving a sizeable gap with my real hopes now resting on a Champions League place once again.
Harrison Narh and Addicted Azhar are non movers once again as they round up the top 10. Eoin McAndrew and his very high flying birds move up to 12th after earning the gameweek high score of 83, the next target will no doubt be breaking the top 10.
He leapfrogs Gary Mantle who drops to 13th while @THEWWFPL is laying the smackdown in 24th place. Lowest score of the week goes to Ho Yeung Howard Tian who scored a paltry 19 points while Bruno B is still cast well adrift at the foot of the table. That concludes the roundup for Gameweek 29.
Highest Score – Eoin McAndrew 83
Lowest Score – Ho Yeung Howard Tian 19
