- With the draw pitting Manchester City vs Everton and Liverpool vs Stoke
- That means a Manchester City vs Liverpool final is on the cards, but don’t rule out an all Merseyside Final either
- Even Stoke who seem to be Liverpool’s bogey team lately cannot be ruled out
- Liverpool looked pretty ominous last night even after going behind so early
- Daniel Sturridge bagged two, first to level the scores and then put Liverpool in front. After that the Reds never looked back and when Alberto Moreno made it 3 before half time it was all but game over
- Southampton capitulated in the second half as Liverpool went onto win 6-1 and Jurgen Klopp’s men got their 7 win from 8 games
- On Tuesday it was a comfortable home wins for Manchester City without Sergio Aguero and Stoke who eased past Sheffield Wednesday
- While Everton didn’t slip up on the potential banana skin that was Middlesbrough away
- So the Quarter Finals went the way of the form book, we now wait until the New Year to see how the Semi Finals pan out.
