- A late late winner for Benfica last night
- Gonçalves Oliveira heading home Nicolas Gaitan’s free kick after Zenit were reduced to 10 Men moments before
- Domenico Criscito was shown his marching orders after two yellow cards
- Benfica were certainly the better side, with the Russian Champions failing to show any real threat last night
- This was aided the fact that Zenit haven’t played a competitive game in two and a half months
- Zenit are very much still in the tie though and with only a slender 1-0 nil advantage to overturn they are still in with a chance of progression to the Quarter Finals
