Another piece of news coming out of Africa regarding our man Herve and this time it’s from Morocco
The Moroccan Football Federation is looking for a new coach to replace Badou Zaki and would be especially interested in the French Hervé Renard. It’s not the first time that the Moroccan Football Federation have tried to enlist the services of Herve as they were in discussions with the ex-Lille Man in 2014.
Those talks didn’t come to fruition and Morocco appointed Badou Zaki instead, with Zaki now being sacked as Manager of Morocco it seems as if they are ready to get their Man second time around. Renard turned down the opportunity to Coach Al Ahly of Egypt recently as he seems to be more of a fan of National Management and with his love of Nightlife who can blame him.
He now looks set to be ready to experience the best of the nightlife that Casablanca and Marrakech has to offer – he could be smoking 0n a shisha pipe by this time next week. Herve if I can offer you one piece of advice don’t fly Royal Air Maroc – they are a terrible airline.
If he does take charge his first task will be to make sure that he qualifies for the 2017 African Cup Of Nations, a tournament he knows very well as a two time winner with success in 2012 with Zambia and the most recent edition in 2015 with the Ivory Coast. With Herve at the Morocco helm you wouldn’t bet against him winning a third title next year.
