West Brom vs Bournemouth – Match Preview

West Brom will be without midfielder Claudio Yacob, who remains in Argentina because of a family bereavement.

The Baggies are confident Stephane Sessegnon will be fit enough to return to the bench this weekend.

Bournemouth striker Joshua King injured his hamstring against Manchester United but is expected to play on Saturday.

Winger Marc Pugh may be involved after injury, but manager Eddie Howe could name an unchanged side for the third successive league match.

Editor’s Note: Tony Pulis has been making headlines this week as he has started a feud with Jurgen Klopp, Pulis felt aggrieved that The Baggies had a goal disallowed last week at Anfield and only had to make do with a point from their encounter last Sunday.

His focus will now have to shift to the visit of Bournemouth who in their last two weeks have taken the scalps of Chelsea and Manchester United and will no doubt be looking to continue this momentum with another win this afternoon.

They won’t find it easy against West Brom who have recently beaten Arsenal and came from behind to draw with Tottenham at their own patch and are unbeaten in their last 4 league matches, albeit the last 3 being draws

If West Brom can win then they can break clear of that bottom bracket of teams and be safe in mid table but if Bournemouth were to win then that would drag The Baggies down into that relegation mini league. So not quite a 6 pointer but still certainly of some importance.

Bournemouth are brimming with confidence but West Brom are always a hand nut to crack so I think the points will be shared today.
