Sweden vs Holland in less than 2 minutes

Sweden played their first game of their post Zlatan era last night against a Holland side who were looking to bounce back from the disappointment of missing out on qualifying for Euro 2016.

Marcus Berg put the hosts in front just before the break while it was down to Wesley Snijder to level matters midway through the second half. Danny Blind’s side thought they had snatched all three points in injury time but Bas Roxy’s effort was ruled out.

Honours even in this group opener, a point that Holland will probably be the happier with.

Here is all you need to know from last night?

  1. For someone known as “the washing machine”, what on earth was Kevin Strootman doing?!
