Real Madrid did their part in the race for the La Liga title with a narrow win over Real Sociedad at The Anoeta. That win put them top for a couple of hours due to the fact that they played before both of their arch rivals yesterday.
They had to Gareth Bale to thank again and once again they left to late to find a winner. They seem to be grinding out results at the moment, but in fairness that’s all they need to do. If they can keep winning their games and both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid slip up then it will be Los Blancos who will snatch a very unlikely La Liga trophy in Zinedine Zidane’s first season in charge.
