In a week where Tottenham’s title hopes were blown to pieces and Chelsea find themselves just one win away from the Premier League title, it is also the week in which my hopes of reaching 55% as a final strike rate was blown out of the water. In short I’ve had an absolute shocker, talk about coupon busted. There’s no point delaying the misery any further here is how I fared in regards to my Week 36 predictions
Friday
West Ham vs Tottenham – Tottenham Win NO
Saturday
Manchester City vs Crystal Palace – Manchester City Win YES
Bournemouth vs Stoke – Bournemouth Win NO
Burnley vs West Brom – Burnley Win NO
Hull vs Sunderland – Hull Win NO
Leicester vs Watford – Leicester Win YES
Swansea vs Everton – Everton Win NO
Sunday
Liverpool vs Southampton – Liverpool Win NO
Arsenal vs Manchester United – Draw NO
Monday
Chelsea vs Middlesbrough – Chelsea Win YES
Wednesday
Southampton vs Arsenal – Arsenal Win YES
A miserly 4 out of 12, I said last week that I was going to have to turn in something like 70 or 80% success rate to really give myself a chance of hitting 55% correct. That now means that I am on 186 out of 352, which for all you maths fans is 52.8%. It’s not impossible but I’m going to have to get 23 out of the last 28 picks correct to hit 55%, on the flipside I only need 4 correct to hit 50%. So the targets seems to be fully down further. Let’s aim for a nice 50% then, this prediction lark is hader than it looks.
But like any good tipster, I never give up and this week coming we have an absolute monster week. 18 matches to be played between Friday and next Thursday, it’s going to be pretty mental. An absolute feast of football. Those predictions will follow later today (Thursday). Let’s hope that I can end the season on a flourish.
