It’s Saturday evening, not the best time to be writing it must be said but it has been a busy day of F.A. Cup action, something that I would rather gloss over after Tottenham laboured to a draw against Newport. However there is still a lot of gossip to wade through, so here are all the back page headlines

Real Madrid want Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager and have made an approach for the Tottenham boss. Arsenal have made a part-exchange bid of £10m plus 32-year-old France right-back Mathieu Debuchy for West Brom’s 30-year-old Northern Ireland centre-back Jonny Evans. (Star) Such a bunch of skin flints
The Gunners will have to bid over £25m if they want to sign Evans from the Baggies. (Sun) Especially if that is the price that the Baggies are after
