Funny Football Phrases From Around The World

We have some very odd Football phrases here in the UK, the good old “six-pointer” or the ball going into “row z” – when you think about it they are a bit strange aren’t they. I mean no-one actually gets given six points for a win, although that would certainly make the battle for relegation a bit more interesting.

Then again hitting it into Row Z is a bit more self explanatory, but for all you people who cannot work it out it means launching the ball high into the stands or some instances sometimes into the stands itself. They are just two well used phrases from week to week in this country but what about further afield.
