Amrabat out of Hell

Watford have announced the signing of Moroccan International Nordin Amrabat from Malaga. The 28 year old spent last season there on loan from Galatasaray, a move which was made permanent in the Summer. So it comes as a slight surprise that Malaga have moved him on so quickly.

That said his form compared to last season hasn’t been the same with him failing to register a goal in La Liga this season. Watford Manager Sanchez Quique Flores felt that the team needs a bit more creativity in the Middle of the park, especially as they have now lost their last 4 matches. Last’s night defeat away to Swansea extending this slump in form.

Watford now find themselves 12th in the Premier League and have yet to win since beating Liverpool at home on the 20th December. It seems the momentum has stalled somewhat since Christmas and the Ex Atletico Madrid Manager will have to make sure his Watford side can get over the all important 40 point marker. Not quite crisis yet for The Hornets but they could do with getting a point on the board soon.
