Slovakia’s Euro 2016 squad announced

Slovakia Manager Jan Kozak has announced a 27 man provisional squad for this Summer’s European Championships  as he runs the rule over the players before he makes a decision as to who will make the final 23 for the trip to France

The most obvious name that stands out is Liverpool’s Martin Skrtel, he hasn’t been getting as much game time as he would have liked for Liverpool as of late but he will certainly be the defensive lynchpin for this Slovakian side. That’s where the Premier League representation starts and ends but Manchester City fans may remember Vladimir Weiss who is now playing in Qatar

In Midfield the key man will undoubtedly be Marek Hamsik of Napoli, his guile and creativity in the middle of the park will be key and they will be looking to get out of the same group in which England are in. With these two sides playing last in this group it could be a key match for both sides

Upfront Adam Nemec will be charged with scoring the goals after having a decent season with Willem II in Holland. Below is the provisional squad in full
