Atletico Madrid are doing their best to make La Liga not just a a one horse race as they won away at Valencia last night. Before the game they were 1 1 points behind Barcelona and defeat would have all but meant the title is staying in Catalunya this season.
As it now the stands they are just 8 points behind but still with a lot of work to do if they are to catch their nearest rivals. As for “Gary Neville’s Valencia” they benefited from dodgy Goalkeeping in Midweek, whereas last night it was Atletico who were the lucky recipients. Atletico were good value for the win.
