Tottenham vs Everton a few quick thoughts

spurs

  • Another game and the elusive first win still eludes us.
  • If you were trying to take positives I suppose you could say that it’s three games unbeaten and we kept a first clean sheet of the season.
  • Harry Kane should have done better with that chance in the 22nd minute, maybe on last seasons form he would have buried it but it’s another game where the opposition keeper has come away as Man Of The Match
  • Was a shame to see Dembele go off injured but I still don’t think he should be playing wide right, but hopefully that situation will be rectified with the signing of Son.
  • Think Dele Alli should start the next game, especially if Eriksen is still unfit after the international break, looked certainly move lively when he came on.
  • Although Ryan Mason should have also scored after 27 minutes.
  • Atmosphere sounded great in the second half, just a shame there wasn’t a goal to warrant it.
  • Apart from a save early on by Lloris we never really looked threatened plus it was good to see Danny Rose back in the side.
  • As the game was 0-0 there’s not really much else I can add to this really.
  • Now we just have to wait for probably the most important day of the season…..Transfer Deadline Day! – does Daniel Levy have anything up his sleeve?.
