Tottenham vs Chelsea a few quick thoughts

- Well that was the definition of a bore draw wasn’t it
- Good to get a clean sheet and more importantly we got the club record 13 games unbeaten
- It says something when the main talking point is Diego Costa throwing a bib
- Not wanting to use the excuse of the Europa League but we definitely looked leggy in the 2nd half
- If we had got infront when we were on top in the first half then I think we would have won but we just couldn’t breach Asmir Begovic’s goal
- Chelsea playing no strikers, it looked like they were ready to park the bus after 10 minutes or so, they did come into the game more in the 2nd half but it’s probably a better point for them then it is us
- Great save from Hugo Lloris though in the 2nd half, he didn’t have much to do but he kept his concentration when it was needed and stopped Chelsea snatching all 3 points
- Think we missed Dele Alli’s energy in Midfield yesterday so will look forward to him slotting back in next weekend
- Although a draw we still keep the 10 point gap on Chelsea, so that’s one positive to take from the game
- But do we look at this and the same scoreline against Liverpool last month as opportunities missed
- Still only 2 points off the Top 4 but had we won we would have the same points as Arsenal, we’ve got the club record now we have to kick on and try and secure a Champions League place.
- Unbeaten in 3 London Derbies and through to the Europa League this month, I think people would have been more than happy with that if you asked them at the start of November. COYS!
