- And the Spurs go marching on. Up to third now as Mauricio Pochettino’s side overcome another test on the road
- They got off to the perfect start with a Goal from Dele Alli and to be honest never looked back
- Harry Kane made it 2-0 from the spot after half an hour to all but secure the win
- It could have been 3 or 4 at half time and the danger is always whether Norwich would come back into it but that was Spurs of old, last night was again a very professional performance
- Dele Alli had to go off at half time which is a little worrying but he should be back again for Saturday
- A clean sheet without Vertonghen was a massive bonus, Kevin Wimmer slotted in nicely last night and it was business as usual
- Once again the strength in depth showed as both Kyle Walker and Ben Davies reverted to full back and didn’t miss a beat all night. So pleasing to have 4 good quality full backs who
- Think Son is playing himself ahead of Lamela as of late but with so many fixtures coming up everyone will get their share of game time.
- Steven Naismith was a bit of a nuisance but bar the ball in net which was disallowed for Offside then they never really troubled
- Although Norwich have troubles of their own now a win for Newcastle Tonight could see them fall into the bottom 3. The Defence is leaking, that’s 8 conceded in 2 matches
- I suppose if we keep winning than the lack of extra Striker isn’t the problem, it’s only if and when results go against us that people will use it as a stick to beat Pochettino with
- We maybe up to third but I’m not even entertaining any talk of “Mind The Gap” there’s too much Football still to be played with Watford up next on Saturday at White Hart Lane. COYS!
