Champions League Quarter Final Draw and Thoughts

Wolfsburg vs Real Madrid
Bayern Munich vs Benfica
Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid
PSG vs Manchester City

• There’s no blockbuster tie of the round as such but Manchester City will probably feel they have a pretty decent Quarter Final against PSG
• If City can win here then it will do England’s coefficient a massive boost what with there being no Italian sides in the competition anymore
• They will certainly be thankful that they have avoided Barcelona who themselves face off against Atletico Madrid in a repeat of the 2014 competition in which Atletico went all the way to the final
• Bayern’s reward for that dramatic win on Wednesday night is a tie against Benfica in which they will go into that as favourites
• And arguably the weakest of the 8 sides Wolfsburg have been paired with Real Madrid
• But with all the big guns avoiding each other we could be set for some very interesting Semi Finals
