- Middlesbrough get an emphatic win on the South Coast to go 3 points clear
- Brighton’s unbeaten run finally comes to an end
- The Seagulls never really turned up a
- Although Jose Mourinho did
- Middlesbrough started the better with Brighton hardly getting a touch until David Stockdale had to pick the ball out of his net after just 4 minutes
- Then Boro went 2-0 up just before half time and that was pretty much game over in a game that Brighton were never really in
- Stuani then rubbed salt in the wounds to make it 3 to end a miserable lunchtime for Brighton
- Brighton really missed LuaLua and March today
- If results go against them they could find themselves in 4th place in a couple of hours time
- ‘Boro were well worth their win and now sit pretty at the top of The Championship going into Xmas
- I don’t think Aitor Karanka could have wished for a better present
- While it’s a lump of coal for Brighton after that performance
