What if the World Cup was played like the F.A. Cup? – Final Part 2

This is it. The “Road To The Final” culminates here. Two teams left in the competition in the form of Germany and Senegal, who will be crowned World Champions on Christmas Eve

It’s taken a fortnight to get here and the suspense is building. Let’s not wait any longer, the result has been simulated and it is….

FINAL
Germany 0 vs 1 Senegal

Well who would have thought that? . The German giants have fallen at the final hurdle and Sadio Mane’s winner at The Allianz Arena has stunned the world.

I thought it was going to be a situation where even in a random simulation that takes two weeks, Germany would mimic their real life achievements of last Summer. But no there was a final twist in the tale. A win for All Africa (Peter Drury 2010)

Pele’s prediction of an African team winning a World Cup has finally rung true (albeit in a simulated version) and there will be jubilant scenes in Senegal tonight.

There you have it then, if the World Cup was played like the F.A. Cup then Senegal would be the winners. Who knows next year if they can defend their title?
