Editor’s Note: West Ham were outclassed last week at Vicarage Road with James Collins being run ragged by Odion Ighalo and taking out his frustation on him by booting lumps out of him, maybe Collins didn’t have Ighalo in his FPL team, who knows?
The Hammers will look to bounce back in the best possible with a home win over a Everton side who hit Sunderland for 6 last weekend. With West Ham beating the big teams with apparent ease this season it seems to be the smaller in comparison sides where they are having the most difficulty with. So if they do have any hopes of Top 4/6 come May they need to not just turn it on for the big occasions.
Slaven Bilic was very frank in his assessment of West Ham’s performance and truth be told they were masters of their own downfall as Andy Carroll went from hero to zero in the space of 7 days as his failure to clear led to Watford’s opening goal last weekend.
Everton on the other hand were rampant last week at Goodison Park as Kone and Lukaku linked up superbly to pile more misery on a troubled Sunderland side, they will be looking for more of the same today at Upton Park. They obviously won’t have as much joy as they did last weekend and I think the two teams are evenly matched therefore I think it will be honours even between the two sides.
