Southampton vs West Brom – Match Preview

Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama is available again after serving a two-match suspension.

Top scorer Graziano Pelle could start after making his return from a knee injury as a substitute in Wednesday’s win over Watford.

West Brom’s James Morrison is sidelined with the hamstring injury that forced him off against Chelsea in midweek.

Rickie Lambert is available again after illness, while Jonas Olsson will have a fitness test on his hamstring.

Editor’s Note: Ronald Koeman’s mood was no doubt lifted after their win over Watford on Wednesday as his Southampton side but a bit more distance and the 6 sides that you would consider in the relegation battle this season, they will look to get further away from that pack of clubs when they take on West Brom this Afternoon.

Southampton run out comfortable 2-0 winners in Midweek and will be boosted by the returns of Victor Wanywama and Graziano Pelle to the starting eleven. Southampton look probably set for mid table purgatory this season as do their opponents West Brom

West Brom have been on a good run as of late with them being unbeaten in their last 3 matches and last time out they came from behind to secure a draw at Chelsea. That draw could prove costly in terms of personnel though as James Morrison is definitely out injured while Jonas Olsson could also be ruled out with a similar hamstring injury

This game just says mid table stalemate. My money is on draw and possibly the last on Match Of The Day award.
