Two weeks into the season now and the action is coming thick and fast, once again it was a favourable week for the attackers and that means a raft of high scores. Failure to have either Aguero or Ibrahimovic in your team would have been a big blow, it would have been even worse had you not picked either.
The scores have now been tallied up so without further ado, let’s now see how the runners and riders fared after Gameweek 2.
Their is a new name at the top of the leaderboard as Tim Ward’s very impressive high score of 90 sees him surge into first place with a total of 166 points, he has a 5 point advantage over last weeks leader Kwame Twumasi, Kwame’s 77 points would have been a high most weeks but new boy Tim is showing everyone how it’s done. Peter Smith moves up a a place from 4th to 3rd, while yours truly (Dan Tracey) sits 4th in the last Champions League spot.
Ologo Popo will be ruing a bad week after he drops down to 6th while last seasons champion David McDonagh isn’t quite hitting that league winning form as he sits in 8th place, but there is still a lot of FPL to be played.
Looking down the table, my good friend Andy Miller sits in 22nd, while the Twitter account @THEWWFPL (give him a follow) is not laying the smackdown in 31st although he is two places clear of Gary Mantle in 33rd.
At the bottom Stuart Robertson has clawed himself off the foot of the table as Andy Harrison has to make do with the wooden spoon this week. Andy’s 31 points sees him register the lowest score of the week.
That concluded all the action from last week be sure to come back next week for a full review of Gameweek 3. Until then
Highest Score – Tim Ward 90
Lowest Score – Andy Harrison 31
