Another week is in the history books and once again it is all change in the race to be this season’s Real Football Men FPL Champion. After setting the early pace Kwame Twumasi’s form has taken something of a blip but he is back with a vengeance as he has taken back top spot.
Kwame’s high score of 84 points sees him hold a 14 point lead over my good friend Andy Miller who moves up to second. Ologo Popo now finds himself in third while last season’s winner David McDonagh is in the last of the Champions League places.
Spare a thought for Dennis Kioko, last weeks leader has slipped all the way down to 5th after a very costly week while it hasn’t been all that good for Ray McDermott and Addicted Azhar either who find themselves with a red arrow next to their name while in 6th and 7th respectively.
Andrew Sinclair and Fifi McDowell have had strong weeks as they move up to 8th and 9th while Josh Abayateye finds himself in 10th. My comeback run is picking up pace as I’m now just outside the Top 10 in 13th place I’m hoping the momentum can continue this weekend.
Gary Mantle is a non mover in 20th while @THEWWFPL finds himself powerslammed down in 24th. Nana Abiri has had a week to forget, one of the original managers from last season registered a lowest score of just 37 points this week and finds himself in 29th.
But the big news is that it’s all change at the bottom and a new manager has hold of the wooden spoon. Both Stuart Robertson and Matt Dickinson have pulled away from the drop zone leaving Simon Vingil in a very precarious position with just 5 gameweeks to go before someone gets the mid season boot.
That’s all for Week 14, be sure to come back next week when I’ll review all the goings on in Week 15. Until then.
Highest Score – Kwame Twumasi 84
