Nigel De Jong is set to join Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole at LA Galaxy on a Free Transfer after having his contract annulled at A.C. Milan. The 31 year old Dutch Midfielder was made a free agent Last Week after spending 3 and a half years at The San Siro.
De Jong is probably best remembered for his Kung Fu kick on Xabi Alonso in the World Cup Final of 2010 which somehow escaped punishment. Although not forgetting the fact he won a Premier League and F.A. Cup while at The Etihad.
With the new season starting in March, Galaxy seemingly have every intention of winning another MLS Cup with their off season activity, they last won the competition back in 2014.
