Who To Look Out For In The Europa League Draw

And just after the Champions League play-off round draw takes place we then progress onto the Europa League as 44 teams go into the hat looking to move on to the group stages next month.

The 44 teams are comprised of the 29 clubs that won through to this round last night after the Third Qualifying Round and also the 15 clubs whose Champions League journey came to an end on Wednesday.

Like the Champions League Draw it is split between seeded and unseeded with 22 clubs in each category. Everton have made the seeds list after winning in Slovakia last night and they are joined by some pretty big names.

AC Milan who make their return to European Football this season are seeded alongside last season’s runners up Ajax who crashed out to Nice on away goals in the Champions League a couple of nights ago.

Zenit St Petersburg who are now coached by Roberto Mancini are the highest ranked club while Dynamo Kiev are second, they will be nursing their wounds after throwing away a 3-1 first leg lead to Young Boys in the Champions League qualifiers.

Aberdeen missed the chance to join the list of 22 unseeded teams as they were knocked out by Apollon Limassol last night, meaning that there is no more Scottish representation in the competition.

While Rosenborg who were knocked out of the Champions League by Celtic on Wednesday night after James Forrest’s second half goal join the list of Europa League unseeded teams.

Here is the full breakdown of clubs, the 44 names will be out of the hat just after lunchtime when the Europa League draw is made
