And things haven’t stopped there as they returned to winning ways in La Liga with a routine 5-1 win over Leganes yesterday lunchtime. After key players were rested for that defeat to Alaves, Luis Enrique didn’t make the same mistake yesterday as a full strength ran riot over Leganes.
Lionel Messi scored twice with Luis Suarez, Neymar and Rafinha all getting in on the scoring act. They go joint top with Real Madrid for a day at least with Los Blancos playing Espanyol later today.
