Barcelona have won successive La Liga titles after beating Granada 3-0 on the final day of the season. Going into the game they knew they had to make sure they matched Real Madrid’s result to capture their second Spanish title in a row.
With Madrid going in front there was pressure on Barcelona to deliver but you would have never of known as Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick to take his own La Liga tally to 40 goals and wrap up the title for the Catalan Giants.
Even if Lionel Messi has having a quiet season by his own standards I guess it doesn’t matter when you’ve got someone like Luis Suarez who can pick up the slack for you. Barcelona now face Sevilla next Sunday in a bid to win back to back Spanish doubles.
