Inter Milan are considering a move for Manchester United’s English full-back Ashley Young, 33, on a free transfer when his contract expires in the summer. (Mirror)

Manager Unai Emery says Arsenal have not discussed signing Chelsea’s former England centre-back Gary Cahill, 33, in the January transfer window. (Football London)

Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri wants to sign Gary Cahill on a six-month loan. (Sun)

Manager Unai Emery has been told Arsenal will not sanction recalls for loanees Calum Chambers, 23, and Reiss Nelson, 19, this month. (Metro)

Monaco are aiming to seal a January deal for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, 31, as manager Thierry Henry eyes a reunion with his former Arsenal team-mate. (Mail)

Fabregas’ move to Monaco could be completed by next week. (L’Equipe – in French)

Manager Maurizio Sarri says Chelsea do not need to bring in a striker in January even if Olivier Giroud’s ankle injury proves serious. (ESPN)

West Ham are considering a loan move for out-of-favour Everton midfielder and Republic of Ireland international James McCarthy, 28, in January. (Mail)

Chelsea and England striker Tammy Abraham, who is on loan at Aston Villa, will ask to activate a recall option to pursue a loan move at a Premier League club for the second half of the season. (Sun)

Tottenham are willing to send French winger George-Kevin Nkoudou, 23, out on loan in January. (Footmercato)

Ex-Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is set to be named Sheffield Wednesday manager. (Yorkshire Post)

Middlesbrough’s Denmark forward Martin Braithwaite, 27, is set to join La Liga side Leganes on loan for the rest of the season. (Teesside Gazette)
