Eibar vs Barcelona in less than 3 minutes

Barcelona once again closed the gap to Real Madrid to just two points at the top of La Liga thanks to a routine win over Eibar last night. Luis Enrique’s side knew they required another victory after Real’s narrow win the day before and that is exactly what they delivered.

Denis Suarez, opened the scoring with a crisp 20-yard drive and with the Catalan giants ahead they then increased the tempo to put Eibar under increased pressure. That pressure would show after the break as Barcelona scored three unanswered goals.

They doubled their lead when Lionel Messi cushioned in Luis Suarez’s pass and the Uruguayan would himself get on the scoresheet halfway through the second half to make it 3-0. With two thirds of the MSN managing to score it was left until injury time for Neymar to bag a goal and put an exclamation mark on the win.

An impressive win but it did come at a cost as Sergio Busquets was stretched off early in the first half with an injury, how long he is out for remains to be seen but with Andres Iniesta also absent they can ill afford to see Busquets absent for too long a time.
