Czech Republic’s Euro 2016 squad announced

Czech Republic Manager Pavel Vrba has named a 28 man provisional squad for this Summer’s European Championship and it’s one that will be lead by outgoing Arsenal Midfielder Tomas Rosicky. Rosicky whose contract at The Emirates is soon to expire will no doubt be looking to place himself in the shop window and a few good performances will no doubt help his bid to find a new club for next season

He is joined in the squad by his soon to be ex Arsenal teammate Petr Cech while their is also a trio of players from the Championship who have made the first wave of selection. Daniel Pudil and Jiri Siralek would have faced each other recently in the Play-Off Semi Finals but now they will aim to be in the same squad while Matej Vydra will be looking to make the final 23 in one of the attack berths

While keep an eye out for 34 year old David Lafata from Sparta Prague, he once scored 5 goals in a single Champions League game and also repeated the feat recently in a Czech League game for Sparta Prague. Could he repeat the feat in France next Month?
