With Gareth Southgate being given the reins whilst the Football Association determine who will be the best permanent England manager, we thought we’d take a look back at some of the best and worst managers to ever take charge of a team on an interim basis. We’ll see which interim Chelsea boss did the best out of Di Matteo, Rafael Benitez and Guus Hiddink, tell you of a manager that captured the European Cup only three months after taking charge, and one manager that won silverware in his only ever game in charge. Now that’s a 100% win/loss percentage to be proud of!
