West Bromwich Albion have signed Salomon Rondon from Zenit St Petersburg for a club-record fee in the region of £12m.
The Venezuela striker, 25, has agreed a four-year contract with the Baggies and is their fifth signing of the summer.
With the signing of Rondon and Lambert in the space of a week they do seem well stocked in the attack department, could this signing be a sign that Saido Berahino is soon to depart. Obviously Rondon will play no part in tonight’s game against Manchester City so it will be interesting to see how West Bromwich Albion line up this evening.
