Alaves vs Real Madrid in less than 3 minutes

Real Madrid stay top of the La Liga after winning away at Alaves yesterday afternoon. Los Blancos now have a two point advantage over their arch rivals at the summit of the table and although they ran out 4-1 winners they were given an early scare when Alaves went in front.

Deyverson gave Alaves an early after just 7 minutes but then he would undo all his hard work after conceding a penalty. That spot kick was duly converted by Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo and proceedings were now level at 1-1.

12 minutes before the break Ronaldo would put Real in front with a deflected shot and he also had a chance to complete his hat-trick when Real were awarded a second spot kick of the afternoon. Only this time around Ronaldo saw his penalty saved.

Last week’s hero Alvaro Morata would get in on the act to make it 3-1 and then with just a couple of minutes to go Ronaldo would get his hat-trick and take home the match ball.

The ideal preparation for their trip to Warsaw in midweek for Champions League action as they are looking pretty unstoppable at the moment.
