2017/18 Premier League Predictions – Week 8 (Review)

If these predictions were put in front of the Leicester board and I was Craig Shakespeare then I would no doubt be up for the sack after this weekend’s offering. Without furher ado lets look at how miserably I did in terms of my Premier League Predictions.

Saturday

Liverpool vs Manchester United – Manchester United Win NO

Burnley vs West Ham – Burnley Win NO

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea – Chelsea Win NO

Manchester City vs Stoke – Manchester City Win YES

Swansea vs Huddersfield – Draw NO

Tottenham vs Bournemouth – Tottenham Win YES

Watford vs Arsenal – Arsenal Win NO

Sunday

Brighton vs Everton – Draw YES

Southampton vs Newcastle – Newcastle Win NO

Monday

Leicester vs West Brom – Leicester Win NO

A very paltry three out of ten, quite simply that is bloody awful. I think an apology is in order for anyone who has followed my tips not just this week but also across the start of the season. You would think things would have at least settled down by now but no if anything they are getting worse.

Last weekend it was not a question of who let me down but who actually done me any good. The answer to that select club are Tottenham, Manchester City while Wayne Rooney’s penalty at The AMEX stopped it from being an ever more embarrassing end to the week.

As always we need to look at the running totals and I am now on 33 out of 80 predictions. This is just 41.3% correct, considering I was over 50% last season (and to be fair even that was nothing to shout about) I am going to have to pull my socks up and find something resembling a return to form.

Like any bad gambler I never know when to stop, bad for me financially but good from a content point of view, I’ll be back with another raft of predictions tomorrow morning (Thursday) until then.
