Time to review the midweek Premier League action in terms of Predictions now as we take a look at how I fared across both Tuesday and Wednesday night. Week 13 was a week to forget, you could even so it was unlucky for some, then again it’s only making these picks so I can only blame myself. Without waffling on any further, let’s see how I did.
Tonight
Brighton vs Crystal Palace – Brighton Win NO
Leicester vs Tottenham – Tottenham Win NO
Watford vs Manchester United – Manchester United Win YES
West Brom vs Newcastle – Draw YES
Tomorrow
Arsenal vs Huddersfield – Arsenal Win YES
Bournemouth vs Burnley – Draw NO
Chelsea vs Swansea – Chelsea Win YES
Everton vs West Ham – Draw NO
Stoke vs Liverpool – Liverpool Win YES
Manchester City vs Southampton – Manchester City Win YES
Just like Everton who were lifted by the sight of Sam Allardyce at Goodison Park it seems as if my fortunes have taken something of an upward swing, well at least for this week anyway. I score a healthy 6 out of 10, one of my better performances this season.
From a maths point of view it will have nudge me closer to 50% – with there now being a total of 63 correct predictions out of 140. Closer but not close enough as I am 5% short of the halfway target, just for all you maths fans that is 45%.
However it is at least a step in the right direction and if I can get a few more of them under my belt then the complexion of my season in terms of predicitions will at least look a little healthier than it has done as of late. With so much football on the horizon I am running very late for my predictions for Week 15 so I need to crack on and get them added in also. Keep an eye out for those.
