- Blimey this game reminded me why the Europa League can be such a tough watch at times
- I suppose the most important thing is that we won and have qualified out of the group
- The win last night gives us the luxury of resting players for the Monaco tie
- On the balance of play I think we fully deserved the win, considering we hit the woodwork twice before the goal I think a draw would have been a bit harsh
- A clean sheet although we weren’t really threatened. Thought Kieran Trippier had a decent game.
- Harry Kane keeps this scoring run going – isn’t that 9 in 6 now. So much for the One Season Wonder tag
- The only worry is that from Midfield onwards it was pretty much a full strength side. is that going to come back to bite us come Sunday. I’m sure Pochettino will have mulled this over but maybe a few more players could have been rested.
- I suppose an early lead would have made the game more comfortable and allowed earlier subs but due to the goal not coming until late, I think the Manager’s hand was forced somewhat.
- The focus shifts to Chelsea now, due to the lack of preparation time I would be happy with a draw but with the way we have been playing we have every right to be confident of getting all 3 points come Sunday.
