So let’s review last night’s Europa League tips. Original post can be found here:
But to recap it was a simple Double for Zenit and Napoli to both win at home. Unfortunately it wasn’t a good night on the tipping front last night.
Firstly Napoli were 2-0 up but then managed to throw their 2 goal advantage away and allow Wolfsburg to finally level things up at 2-2. Napoli easily progressed through 6-3 on aggregate to the Semi Finals, but from a tipping point of a view it was a NO
Secondly Zenit were 2-1 up and the game was set for extra time as I tipped last night but an 85th minute goal from Kevin Gamiero put Sevilla level on the night and 4-3 ahead on aggregate, this was enough to see them through to the semi finals for the second year in a row but again from a tipping point of view it was unfortunately a NO.
So a frustrating 0 from 2 last night. If I can take any crumb of comfort that both picks were in winning positions and then fell short, so they weren’t wildly off the mark by any means. But a loss is still a loss
That means my match tipping ratio is now 5 from 8 which is down to 62.5% and my bet winning ratio is only 1 from 3 so a 33% strike rate, after a red hot start it’s been two dry days at the tipping well. If you had bet the £5 on Tuesday then we would still have an additonal £5 profit so it’s not all doom and gloom….yet.
Going to have a scout around the best bets for Saturday and try and get some tips up here later today at some point, let’s see if we can arrest this small slump in form. Apologies there were no winners yesterday, but if you did take my advice then I at least thank you for reading. Let’s hope the weekend sees a revival in fortune. Happy tipping!
