- The unbeaten run continues to 14 matches but it wasn’t the best of days at The Hawthorns
- You have to consider it 2 points dropped especially with the other results yesterday
- Salomon Rondon could have put The Baggies in front after 6 minutes but blazed his effort high and wide after brushing past Jan Vertonghen with ease
- The high point of the afternoon was going in front through Dele Alli after quarter of an hour but after that there wasn’t a lot else to praise
- Eric Dier switched off in the build up for their equalizer, this allowed the ball to be played in for James McClean who scored his first goal for West Brom
- Harry Kane was quiet yesterday and his best chance came just after half time but Gareth McAuley managed to hook his effort off the line.
- West Brom were well drilled yesterday as all Tony Pulis sides are and they easily managed to contain Kane
- But the supporting cast of Dembele, Eriksen and Lamela also had quiet afternoons
- The pitch and the conditions were not conducive to Tottenham’s style of Football but you can’t be using them as excuses
- Hugo Lloris made an incredible save in the second half to make sure that Spurs didn’t come away with nothing
- It may sound like a huge sense of entitlement but we need to start turning draws into wins especially now Liverpool are finding their groove
-
- But at least we are 11 points clear of Chelsea so that’s one positive at the end of the day
- A win against Newcastle next Sunday is essential to make sure we stay in the hunt for the Top 4 places. COYS!
