- Well that was a good way to bounce back and end the mini slump
- Plus we have the added bonus of being in the Top 4 at Xmas
- Harry Kane is back in the goals which is exactly what we needed
- A clean sheet as well. What a difference Toby Alderweireld has made since joining the club, a really solid partnership has been formed with Jan Vertonghen
- Dele Alli continues to stay in the spotlight as he bags Tottenham’s 2nd
- First 20 minutes were difficult though Sadio Mane forced Hugo Lloris into action and Tottenham stayed resolute
- Two goals in quick sucsession took the wind out of Southampton sails and we managed to kill a game off where we have failed before
- Maybe defeat last week was the slight kick up the arse we needed
- The unbeaten record has gone so lets focus on winning games and not just setting out to lose them
- The return of Dembele was a massive plus, it’s a totally different side without him
- Now we’ve done the job of getting in the Top 4, the harder task is staying there. Norwich and Watford up next a good opportunity to keep the momentum going
- As always the questions will be asked as to whether we have an additional striker lined up in January
- If we do lets just hope its early in the window….but this is Spurs we’re talking about
