With the Champions League Final tonight between Barcelona and Juventus this will bring the curtain down on the 2014/15 Football season, as there is no World Cup or European Championship this Summer the Champions League has an unusually late June date for it’s showpiece game. But the question you are probably asking is “How am I going to survive until August 8 when the Premier League starts again?”
Well fear not because here is a breakdown of what else is going on in the Summer months:
FIFA Women’s World Cup – 06 June – 05 July
COMNEBOL Copa America – 11 June – 04 July
EURO 2016 Qualifiers – 12 June – 14 June
EURO Under 21 Championship – 17 June – 30 June
CONCACAF Gold Cup – 07 July – 26 July
And by July we will have all matter of Pre-Season tours and friendlies, not to mention the Football League Season starting on August 1 and The Community Shield between Arsenal and Chelsea the day after so really there isn’t that much of a break at all. But if you can’t wait for the Premier League just know that it’s only 63 days away, start the clock.
