Simon Mignolet saves new contract at Liverpool

The recent criticised Simon Mignolet has just signed a five year contract to keep him at Liverpool until the 2020-2021 season. The 27 year old Belgian has come under fire as of late especially last week when he was at fault for two goals against Arsenal.

But thankfully Jurgen Klopp has give him a massive seal of approval with this new lengthy contract. The Goalkeeper area of the side has been much maligned as of late with deputy Adam Bogdan also responsible for conceding howlers against Watford and Exeter

It’s fair to say that Goalkeepers don’t peak until they are in their 30’s so there is still room for improvement for Mignolet but critics will point to whether Mignolet is the man to lead Liverpool from the back and be the crucial difference in whether The Reds can go on and win trophies in the future, it may lead to the odd cup maybe even as soon as next month but can you ever see Liverpool winning a title with Simon Mignolet in between the sticks?
