Real Football Men – Fantasy Football Roundup Gameweek 9

We are a quarter of the way through the title race for the second running of the Real Football Men FPL Title and with 9 gameweeks played it is Kwame Twumasi who once again sits top of the FPL tree. He has now recorded a points haul of 487 and has an 18 point advantage over his nearest rival. But there is a change in the chasing pack as last seasons winner David McDonagh is really finding his groove now as he moves up to second on 469.

It’s also been a good week for my good friend Andy Miller as he moves up to third just three points behind David and well in the title mix at this early stage. It wasn’t a good week for Dennis Kioko as he slipped to fourth after just recording a tally of 31 points.

Addicted Azhar has had a strong week with his 60 points now moving him up to 5th at the expense of both Harrison Narh and Aran Salih. This weeks top scorer Josh Abayateye moves up to 8th after getting an impressive 65, while there were good weeks for Ologo Popo and David Lucas who round out the top 10.

Gary Mantle nosedives down to 11th, while I am having an October to forget as I sit in 19th place. At this rate I’ll be sacked before Christmas. Some real tinkering needs to go on this week to revitalise my hopes of even a European place.

At the bottom in the race to avoid the drop, Solomon Murray Jnr moves up to 32nd but Matt Dickinson has to make do with the wooden spoon as he recorded only 21 points this week, that said he is still 22 points clear of basement dweller Stuart Robertson but the race to stay up is intensifying. That concludes this weeks (late) round up, until next week

Highest Score – Josh Abayateye 65

Lowest Score – Matt Dickinson 21
