Real Football Men – Fantasy Football Roundup Gameweek 8

Thankfully the never ending wait from the international break is over and I don’t know about you but it felt like it went on forever, that said after having a week to forget pre-break I almost wish we were still on international duty as I’ve had another horror show of a week but more of that later

Once again there’s no change at the top as Kwame Twumasi is still the man to beat, he sits at the top of the tree with a total score of 447 but there is a change in the chasing pack as Dennis Kioko is now hot on his heels in second just 13 points behind on 434.

Last season’s winner David McDonagh is starting to find his feet as his title challenge picks up pace with a weeks high score of 66, he moves up to third spot 22 points behind Kwame. My good friend Andy Miller sees himself move down to spots to 4th but just a point further back from David.

Harrison Narh sees himself slip down to 5th but it was good weeks for Aran Salih, addicted azhar, Ray McDermott as they now fill 6th and 8th while Gary Mantle is flying up the table as he is now as high as 9th. Not a great week for Andrew Sinclair as he rounds out the top 10.

I’ve slipped as low as 14th after scoring just 25 points this week but it could be worse as Tim Ward the opening day pacesetter registered a weeks low of 24. I think a mixture of forgetting to do my team, going out drinking, taking on too much blog work was to the team’s detriment for me this week. I need to get back on track and quickly

There’s no change at the bottom of the table as once again Stuart Roberson sits at the foot of the table he now is 21 points from safety with Daniel Platt the nearest man to him, it’s not looking good for Stuart but there is still time to save his season.

That’s all for this week, I know have to do some soulsearching and have a real good look at my team. Until next week
