Chelsea Midfielder Ramires looks set to depart for Chinese Club Jiangsu Suning after agreeing Personal Terms ahead of a £25m move
The 28 year old joined the West London in 2010 for £18m, so to make a profit its a phenomenal piece of business but these Chinese Super League Clubs do seem to have money to burn as of late, so I expect it’s a bid that Chelsea didn’t have to think over too much
Ramires has seen his game time marginalised this season and isn’t really a favourite of Guus Hiddink, so with him seeming surplus to requirements it seems like a pretty obvious move and another hefty pay day for the Brazilian International.
He’s not the only ex Premier League “star” moving to China as former Arsenal Striker Gervinho has moved from Roma to Hebei China Fortune (yep I’ve never heard of them either) he joined the Serie A club in 2013 and the 28 year old departs after a contribution of 17 Goals in 71 Appearances. Again another hefty pay day awaits for the Ivory Coast International.
Roma have been linked with Stephan El Shaarawy as a replacement for Gervinho, the A.C. Milan Striker is currently on loan at Monaco so that deal would have to be cancelled to allow the Egyptian International to move to the Italian Capital.
