It may have been a day to forget for Jose Mourinho as his return to Stamford Bridge saw Manchester United lose 4-0 to Chelsea. But was it a weekend to forget for me in terms of Premier League Predictions. Without further ado lets see how I fared over the last couple of days
Saturday
Bournemouth vs Tottenham – Tottenham Win NO
Arsenal vs Middlesbrough – Arsenal Win NO
Burnley vs Everton – Everton Win NO
Hull vs Stoke – Draw NO
Leicester vs Crystal Palace – Leicester Win YES
Swansea vs Watford – Draw YES
West Ham vs Sunderland – West Ham Win YES
Liverpool vs West Brom – Liverpool Win YES
Sunday
Manchester City vs Southampton – Manchester City Win NO
Chelsea vs Manchester United – Chelsea Win
A bang average 5 out of 10 this week, mid table form if ever we saw it.
Over the course of the season that’s now a hit rate of 53 from 90 or in percentage terms 58.8% – not quite the heady heights from the opening three weeks when I was on 73.3% so in the six weeks since my strike rate has dipped by nearly 15%, then again what do I know?
Not a money making weekend this time around, if anything it was definitely one for the bookies. With Tottenham, Manchester City, Arsenal and Everton all failing to win it’s fair to say that the punters took a bit of a hiding.
I’ll be back on Thursday with my predictions for Week 10. Until then.
