Norwich vs Everton – Match Preview

Norwich manager Alex Neil must decide whether to stick with Declan Rudd in goal or recall John Ruddy.

Wes Hoolahan is set to return following a minor knee injury but on-loan winger Matt Jarvis is still sidelined.

Everton midfielder James McCarthy again faces a fitness test following his recent hip injury.

Defender Leighton Baines is available, having shown no ill-effects as he continues his comeback after a long-term ankle injury.

Editor’s Note: Norwich are blowing hot and cold this season although it’s been more cold as of late. An impressive draw a fortnight ago at home to Arsenal was then followed up by a below par performance away at Watford last Saturday.

The Canaries have got that deadly combination of not scoring goals and conceding too many at the back and it is one that is seeing them hover perilously over the drop zone. Alex Neil’s men have only won 1 game in their last 10 and tomorrow host an Everton side who have a Romelu Lukaku currently firing on all cylinders

His 11 Premier League goals make him 2nd top goal scorer in the league but unfortunately for Everton their league position doesn’t quite reflect Lukaku’s goal haul and they sit 9th in the league at present. Although they are unbeaten in the last 5 matches so are in the midst of a good run form right now

Everton will no doubt go into Tomorrow’s clash as favourites and I expect them to make full use of that tag. I see a lunchtime win for The Toffees tomorrow as Norwich could find themselves in the bottom 3 by the end of the day.
