My Subscribers Have Returned – Please Read If You Are A Subscriber

Good news the last of the teething issues have been sorted and my 143 followers from the previous version of the blog have now been safely migrated over. I must say it’s good to have you back, I was getting lonely here without you.

The slight difference now is that people can’t follow like they did before when wordpress readers could add the blog to the wordpress reader and read the many articles from day to day. I do believe they can still access the blog articles if they have decided to allow e-mails to be sent to them (and if you haven’t then why not)

What it means is now is that that all subscribers will be e-mail based only. There is a section right at the bottom of the page (keep scrolling) where you can join the subscription list. I need to work out on how to add something in the header for people to subscribe. If someone can recommend a good plug in that will do the job then by all means get in touch.

Apart from that there shouldn’t be too much difference in your blogging experience here at realfootballman.com – I’m still working on some background changes and I would imagine there may be a few more wholesale changes come the end of the season. The change to a wordpress.org platform will allow for a lot more functionality and design changes so I think I’m going to treat myself to a new design for the start of next season.

That’s all in the pipeline for a few months time – now I have to get back to the important stuff and that’s focusing on this week’s Premier League match previews. Another important week of action this Weekend as the season draws closer to the end and the stories at both the bottom and the top of the table draw closer to the end
