Tottenham Midfielder Mousa Dembele has signed a new 3 year deal with the club potentially keeping him at White Hart Lane until 2019. The 28 year old Belgian International has seen a marked improvement in his performances this season and has been rewarded for those with a brand new contract.
On announcement of signing the new contract Dembele said “The way we’re playing, the way the club is developing, everything is very good. Everyone wants to be part of this team and this club. That’s why I am proud to extend my contract.”
That is one piece of good news coming out of White Hart Lane and their could be another within the next 48 hours as the North London side have made significant progress in a bid to sign Fulham’s Moussa Dembele (that’s with Two S’s) it is has been reported that a £5m fee has been agreed with Fulham with only personal teams still to be discussed
The French Youth International is out of contract in the Summer also being eyed up by Monaco and Wolfsburg but it seems as if he has opted to stay in the Capital. A sticking point of the deal was that Fulham did hope to have him loaned back for the remainder of the season but Mauricio Pochettino sees him as the perfect back up for Harry Kane and he looks to go straight into the first team squad if and when the deal is completed
